Global Youth Online Union
The Global Youth Online Union (G-YOU) is a non-profit organization registered in United States of America and works for raising environmental consciousness for public welfare among the whole societies through the activities of Youth. We are working with Youth who concern our environment and planet to enable and organize Youth’s participation in the process of global environmental governance. Working with and mentored by experienced scientists, youth participants will develop their own opinion and present solution for a sustainable environment, especially to work out strategy in coping with climate change and biodiversity loss, at international forums.
The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)
The second part of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (CP-MOP10), and the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-sharing (NP-MOP4) have been reconvened in a face-to-face mode in Montreal, Canada from 7th to 19th December 2022. The fifth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (WG2020-5), was held from 3 to 5 December 2022, at the same venue.
The COP 16 of the Convention on Biological Diversity and CP-MOP11 and NP-MOP5 will be held from 21 October to 1 November 2024 in Colombia.
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)
The 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27), the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP17), and the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA 4) were held from 7 to 18 November 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
COP 28 of the United Nations Climate Change Conference was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and closed on 13 Dec 2023.
Ramsar Convention (Convention of Wetlands of International Importance Especially as Waterfowl Habitats)
The 14th Meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties (COP14) was held from 5 to 13 November 2022 in a hybrid manner in Wuhan (China) at East Lake International Conference Center (ELICC) and Geneva (Switzerland) at the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG).
United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD)
The Sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP16) will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 02 to 13 in December 2024.
